I have a comment box. But I don't want it to say No Comments. I have looked at the template. No luck. Suggestions would be helpful but I will also keep playing.

Thanks Rich!!!!

Okay, Just a few tiny changes and a test posts and I think I am on my way. Sorry it has been a few busy days since my last post but what can you do. I also discovered that you must select publish after you make changes to your template and then and only will those changes take affect. (dahurh)

Anyway, this weekend is tech weekend for Shrew out in Elgin. I should just bring a bring a pop -up tent and a few camping supplies because that is where my sweet ass will be pretty much the entire weekend. Tech weekend is where you combine all the other aspects of the show: location, lights, costumes, food, and incorporate that in your rehearsal run. Sometimes in goes in sections. Say Friday, for instance, will be rehearsing at the actual site (wing Park Bandshell) but have only portions of the set and a few props.
Then say Saturday you enter what is known as dry tech. Which means only set, lights, and sound. Then you do a "stop & go" which translates into tops and bottoms of scenes so that the light board operator/technician can get the cues straight and ajust lights accordingly. Finally you enter full or wet tech which includes costumes, make-up and everything else prior and run under show conditions. (no stopping and starting and there is a call time and a go time for the show.)

That is all for now unfortunately. My ride is here and it is church bells are ringing my departure song. Think of Tripp this week and next as he spends time back east.

Peace

So do I keep this new and improved page or do something completely different. I can't seem to grasp the whole thing.
I am currently fiddling with file maker to see see if this could be the data base program for the church. I sincerely doubt that they wil shell out $300 dollars for this program and then spend another $400 dollars on Dreamweaver. But I want cool toys dammit and they want an organized and professional system. So couldn't that be the compromise?

Other News:
My friend Emily is moving to town as we speak. And hopefully I will be able to see her this weekend. (fingers crossed) But this weekend is tech weekend for Taming of the Shrew in Elgin so I probably will not be seeing much of anyone unfornuately.

But you should check out the show at any rate. More beats for the buck and more pies too.
www.talismantheatre.org. Should give you the necessary info. We open August 8th and Close Sept 1.

Tripp is leaving Thursday for VA (sigh) I was supposed to go with him but alas. (sigh) He should be back the 10th or 12th of August. (heavier Sigh) but on a brighter note we have decided to go to the Twin Cities on Vacation in September. (After he sings the Mozart Reqiem in Remembrance of September 11th which should be a moving yet difficult event)

I have never been to the Twin Cities and am looking forward to going. I am hoping their will be levels of activity ranging from kyaking (sp) to sitting ion my ass reading/finishing my Elizabeth Biography.

That is all for now. If anyone has a moment to share what they like and dislike about dreamweaver or filemaker give me a holler.

e-mail me

Peace

Trish
